Product Description

Our Printed Watermelon Tote Bag features a Palestine Map with embedded watermelon artwork, designed by Ilhaam.

The watermelon is a symbol of resistance and Palestinian solidarity. Watermelons are linked with Palestinian activism because their colours — red, black, white and green — match the colors of the Palestinian flag. That symbol became widespread during the decades when waving the Palestinian flag in Gaza and the West Bank was banned.
